Can you advertise CFDs and forex on Google Ads?
Direct answerGoogle allows ads for contracts for difference, financial spread betting, and rolling spot forex only from a licensed provider or aggregator, only in eligible locations, and only after Google certification. The complex speculative financial products page disapproves destinations that publish trading signals, tips, or affiliate broker reviews. A warning is issued at least 7 days before suspension.
Three rows advertisers mix up
| Target | What that row allows, with limits |
|---|---|
| United Kingdom | CFDs, rolling spot forex, and financial spread betting, including aggregators of those products, when the provider is licensed by the Financial Conduct Authority. |
| United States | Rolling spot forex, when the provider is licensed by the National Futures Association. The US row does not list CFDs or spread betting. |
| European Union section | CFDs, rolling spot forex, and financial spread betting targeting Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, or Sweden, when the provider is licensed in the EEA by a national competent authority. |
The page has more country rows, including Japan and Kenya. A country missing from this table is not a ban and is not an approval. Open the live policy before you target it. Every row reviewed here also requires Google certification, and it says other local requirements, including leverage caps and risk warnings, still apply. Those cap numbers are not printed on the Google page.
Crypto-asset ads are the crypto certificate. Exchange-listed event contracts are prediction markets. Binary options stay not allowed on the loans page. A casino or sportsbook certificate is gambling, not this license.
Signal sites do not get the provider certificate
Disapproval covers destinations that provide signals for trading these products. The examples are trading signals, tips, speculative trading information, and affiliate sites with related content or broker reviews. Interpretation: a licensed broker’s own ad is the certification path. A review site that sends the click to that broker is the named disapproval, even when the broker is licensed.

Frequently asked questions
Can a US advertiser run CFD ads?
The United States row on the page allows rolling spot forex when the provider is licensed by the National Futures Association, local leverage and risk-warning rules are met, and the account is certified with Google. That row does not list contracts for difference or financial spread betting.
Does a crypto certificate cover forex?
No. Cryptocurrency ads use the crypto policy. Prediction markets use a separate event-contract certificate. This page is CFDs, financial spread betting, rolling spot forex, and related speculative products.
Can a signals blog advertise if it does not take trades?
No. Destinations that provide signals for these products are disapproved. Google’s examples are trading signals, tips, speculative trading information, and affiliate sites with related content or broker reviews.

LaunchGuarding can scan a campaign for CFD, forex, and trading-signal language before it is submitted. It does not file the certificate.
