Why sexually explicit Google ads suspend the account
Direct answerGoogle suspends the account on detection, with no warning, for sexually explicit content. The policy does not allow graphic sexual acts intended to arouse, content that promotes underage, non-consensual, or other illegal sexual themes, whether simulated or real, or services that generate or teach deepfake pornography. You will not be allowed to advertise with Google Ads again. Reinstatement is only in compelling circumstances.
What is not allowed
The page sits under inappropriate content. Google says it may review the ad, the website, accounts, and third-party sources. Policy: the three bans are graphic sexual acts intended to arouse; promotion of underage, non-consensual, or other illegal sexual themes, simulated or real; and promotion of the creation or distribution of synthetic content altered or generated to be sexually explicit or to contain that nudity.
The non-exhaustive examples for the first ban are hardcore pornography, cartoon porn, or hentai, and sex acts such as genital, anal, and oral sex, or masturbation. The examples for the second ban are rape, incest, bestiality, necrophilia, lolita or teen-themed pornography, and underage dating. The examples for the third ban are sites or apps that claim to generate deepfake pornography or that show instructions for creating it, and endorsing or comparing those services.
This article does not explain how to make any of that. Child sexual abuse and exploitation is a separate policy. Do not create or advertise it. This page does not describe that policy.
This is not “sexual content” limited serving
Nudity, including blurred nudity, sex toys, fetish lingerie, and suggestive poses are sexual content. That policy can still allow limited Search serving and warns at least 7 days before suspension. A dating certification does not move a graphic sex act onto that milder label. If the account email says sexually explicit content, treat it as this suspension, not as a creative edit on a live campaign.
Gore, profanity, and shocking images are a different inappropriate-content rule, covered with clickbait and shocking content. That rule warns 7 days. It does not describe this ban.
What the account can do
The dedicated page’s option is an appeal, not a checklist for rewriting the ad into compliance. Appeal from the Google Ads account only if you believe the decision is an error. Google says accounts are reinstated only in compelling circumstances, so the appeal has to be accurate. If you cannot fix the violation, remove the ad. Opening another account to keep running is circumventing systems, which is its own egregious suspension.

Frequently asked questions
Is a sex-toy or lingerie ad this suspension?
Not by itself. Sex toys, fetish lingerie, and nudity, including blurred nudity, sit on the sexual-content policy. Those ads can be limited to certain searches, ages, and networks, and that policy warns at least 7 days before suspension. This page is graphic sexual acts intended to arouse, illegal sexual themes, and synthetic pornography services. Those suspend the account immediately.
Can I edit the ad and get the account back?
The sexually explicit page does not publish an edit-and-resubmit path. It says to appeal if you believe there was an error, or to remove the ad. Reinstatement is only in compelling circumstances. A new account is not an appeal.
Does this page cover child sexual abuse?
No. Child sexual abuse and exploitation is a separate Google Ads policy. Do not create or advertise that content. This article does not describe it.
Check the creative before it is submitted
LaunchGuarding can scan an ad for sexual content before submission. It does not overturn an egregious suspension. That appeal is filed in the Google Ads account.
